Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- Tag manager or server-side tagging available.
- Defined conversion events and parameters (e.g., value, currency, event_id).
- Implement client-side events with unique
event_idper action. - Set up server-side events (CAPI) and deduplicate with
event_id. - Map events per platform (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) with consistent naming.
- Respect consent modes and prevent firing without consent.
- Validate events in each platform’s debugger and GA4/warehouse.
Validation
Section titled “Validation”- No duplicate conversions; parameters populated; attribution reconcilable.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Missing events: check triggers and network blocks.
- Duplicates: verify dedup keys and timing windows.
- Consent issues: ensure correct flags and regional logic.
